Projektio investigates how sensations affect our actions and how we interpret the stimuli we receive from our senses and adapt our actions when something changes. As a broader sense, it explores perception through interaction between the outside world and the self – The world gives us events, we interpret them and act upon them. The piece highlights how the process becomes the piece by an accumulative improvisation. The dancers create the piece in front of an audience by looping and adding improvised movements for 60 minutes in order to remember everything that has happened within the time. As authenticity, humanity and honesty take roles in playing with activating our interception network, shutting down the visual sense changes the way we "see" things around us.
