I don’t care for flowers
2020
Your tongue tastes soil
Eyes blister against sunshine
Old aches care for frost
I’ll lick your eye lids next time
Lips tasting of pine
Skin on tongue like grass
See the trees in my eyes
Walk along my hairy path
Smack your lips to mine
Insects sleep in my chest
I collect all your fallen eyelashes
I am all your regrets
I don’t care for flowers is a video performance about nature and the female form, and how they intersect with each other. The body becomes the extension of the nature and simultaneously the nature becomes the extension of the body through transformation that allows the audience to observe the image of complementary forms of femininity. The corporeal exploration is focused on the crossing of decay and vitality - The body and the melting ice around it are seen as an indicator of the passage of time.
